How do I get teacher access?

Open the emailed teacher invitation link, or create an account and ask your Program Director or Site Admin to assign you to a class or send a teacher class code. A Teacher tab then appears on your dashboard.

What does the Teacher tab show me?

One card per class with the class team score, practice attempts this week, how many students were active, the full roster with last-active, invite links, and lesson assignments.

You have not been linked to a class. Ask your Program Director to assign you as the class teacher or to send a teacher class code.

How do I invite students?

Which students have signed in, and which haven't?

Check the roster: Last active shows Never for students who have not practiced yet, and Active this week shows how many have practiced in the last 7 days.

A student appears twice, or is in the wrong class.

Use the Move to… menu in the roster to transfer the student to another class you teach; ask your Program Director for moves outside your classes.

What should I tell a brand-new student?

Tell them to go to the site, click Join, use their email, confirm the email, then enter the class code or open the invite link, choose their first language, and open the assigned lesson.

A student can't sign in or hear audio. What do I check?

Confirm they used the same email, confirmed it by email, reset the password if needed, and that device volume is up and they pressed the listen button, since audio never autoplays.

How do I assign a lesson to my class?

In the class card open Lesson assignments, pick the book, unit and lesson, and add it. It is pinned to the top of every student's dashboard.

Can I assign more than one lesson?

Yes. Multiple assignments can be active at once; remove any you no longer need so the list stays short.

How do I see how an individual student is doing on a lesson?

The roster shows each student's last-active date and weekly practice counts; use it to spot who needs help.

What counts as practice?

Each completed exercise attempt counts, including vocabulary games, listening, speaking and writing tasks and story questions.

How do I turn the team leaderboard on?

Use the Team leaderboard switch at the top of your class card. Students then get their own opt-in switch.

Many adult learners come from cultures that value the group over the individual, so the score rewards participation by the whole class.

Show the class score at the start of class, set a weekly team goal, celebrate the students who moved from Never to active, and never read out individual numbers.
